Offering a unique package comprising long-travel suspension & sporty 17” wheels, a slim, upright riding position and a compact Parallel-Twin engine tuned for low-mid range torque, the Versys 650 was designed to maximize rider enjoyment on the street – especially when the roads get twisty. The addition of rider support technology like KTRC contributes to the high level of rider confidence in a wide range of street-riding situations.
Complementing updates to the upper cowl and windshield that offer increased wind protection for greater rider comfort on longer rides, new 4.3” full-colour instrumentation with smartphone connectivity allows riders to connect with their machine like never before, adding to a richer motorcycle lifestyle.
Like the Versys 1000, the new Versys 650 features an emotional design to charm the rider. The much more flowing styling features a clear line of colour traceable from the front of the bike to the rear. A balanced use of colour and materials emphasizes the functional beauty of the bike’s individual parts and the sculpted bodywork shaped with rider comfort in mind.
The compact new 4.3” all-digital TFT colour instrumentation gives the cockpit a high-tech, highgrade appearance. The new meter also offers additional features unavailable on the previous model, including smartphone connectivity.
Slim, upright position and wide handlebars offer a naturally relaxed posture and high controllability.
Optimised for gratifying response in everyday riding situations, the exciting 649 cm3 Parallel Twin engine offers smooth, linear response, strong low-mid range torque and favourable fuel economy.
Together with the redesigned upper cowl, a new windshield offers increased wind protection, contributing to greater rider comfort and adding to the Versys 650’s potential as a capable touring partner. Its four positions can conveniently be adjusted from the rider’s seat.
Complementing its LED taillight, new LED headlights add symmetry to the Versys 650’s “face.” LED turn signals add a modern touch, contributing to the bike’s good looks.
Kawasaki's advanced traction control system provides both enhanced sport riding performance and the peace of mind under certain conditions to negotiate low-traction surfaces with confidence. Two modes allow riders to adjust settings to suit the riding situation and rider preference.
